Our story
Elif Demir founded FORMA in 2014 in a two-room flat in Cihangir. Our first project was a single wall in a friend’s 60-square-metre home; choosing its colour took two weeks.
Today we work with four interior designers and a library of hundreds of samples. In twelve years we have completed more than 120 spaces, each with its own palette: homes, boutique hotels, restaurants, offices, shops and a yacht.
Our method has not changed: first we listen, then we lay out samples on the table. A room starts to take shape the moment you touch its materials.

We repair what exists, choose long-lasting materials and work with local workshops.

Sample library
One wall of our studio is samples from end to end: more than 400 fabrics, 120 stones and woods, 60 paint cards. On Saturdays you can come by appointment and touch as much as you like.
