Design concept
While keeping the old cornices we wanted to paint the flat in warm evening light: peach lime-plaster walls, velvet that softens the light and one dark note.
Material board
Materials used
- Peach lime plaster
- Dusty rose velvet
- Herringbone oak parquet
- Brushed brass
- Aubergine linen
The third floor of a 1910s apartment block. We repaired the cornices and herringbone parquet and renewed the walls with peach-toned lime plaster.
The living room has a curved dusty rose sofa and an aubergine armchair; the bedroom an upholstered headboard and brass wall lights.
★★★★★
When we bought it the flat was cold and dark. Now the evening light turns the walls peach; it is the first thing our guests ask about.
