The project’s palette
Design concept
The owner brought us a handful of dried lavender. The whole palette came from that bunch: faded violet, dusty green, lime white and sun-bleached oak.
Material board
Materials used
- Lavender bouclé upholstery
- Beige travertine table and floor
- Bleached oak
- Hand-woven rattan
- Linen curtains
This house on the stone streets of Alaçatı faces its courtyard through arched openings. We left the walls alone, renewed the lime plaster and built the interior from the colours of the lavender and olive in the courtyard.
Living room
A low bouclé sofa, a travertine table and linen curtains soften the light. Bleached oak benches before the arches form a threshold to the courtyard.
Dining
A solid oak table, rattan and lavender-upholstered chairs and a paper pendant. This is the busiest room in the house; we chose materials that age gracefully.
The FORMA team turned our home into a place beyond our dreams. The care and taste they showed in every detail is truly impressive.
